Fitness for Kids

Building confidence through fun and fitness

Dear School Teachers, do you have students that struggle with:

  • Participating in sport / physical activities

  • Confidence

  • Physical skills eg. Hand eye coordination

  • Stress and anxiety

  • Team work

How does it work?

Our program uses science-based training protocols that are fun and engaging for kids aged 8-15 years with different learning styles.

Fitness for Kids encourages children to challenge themselves with different fitness drills, fun games and team activities which challenge different aspects of their fitness. We challenge the following aspects through fun games:

- Speed

- Agility

- Hand-eye coordination

- Strength

- Power

- Balance

- Flexibility

- Reaction time

- Endurance

The main purpose of the program is to provide a fun way for children to exercise so they can explore different types of movement, give things a go and ultimately increase their confidence

What the Teachers have said

“Jonathan and his team at DIYPT have been an exceptional sports provider for Good Samaritan Catholic College. Their creative and energetic approach has brought fun and engaging options like speedball and mini-games to our students. These activities have not only promoted physical fitness but also teamwork and sportsmanship among our students. The professionalism and enthusiasm of Jonathan and his team have made every session enjoyable and impactful. We are grateful for their dedication to delivering high-quality sports programs and fostering a positive environment for all participants. Thank you for your outstanding contribution to our school community!”
Mark Newman, Good Samaritan Catholic College

“Jonathan is a fair, firm and fun boxing instructor who developed a great rapport with the students during the program. Each session had consistency in his expectations for their boxing technique, which gave the students something to continue developing as the program went on. As well as developing their technique, Jonathan would introduce a new element to the workout each session either in the form of fun warm up game or a sparring activity to keep the students engaged and moving. He leads by example and has no hesitation to get amongst the students and spar with them to spur them on.Jonathan's sessions gave students of all physical fitness levels and capabilities an opportunity to get involved. He used his time with the students at All Saints Catholic Senior College to not only get them motivated and moving but he observed the way they work with each other and challenge themselves. In the final session he celebrated the student’s achievements by awarding single students for their teamwork and technique. A small gesture that was greatly appreciated by the students. I have no hesitation in recommending Jonathan for any future school boxing/fitness bootcamps”.

“The DIYPT Fitness for Kids program has been a success going by what I’ve personally experienced as well as the positive feedback I’ve received from the supervising Teachers and students. The Trainers make it as fun as possible and keep it highly engaging. They encourage all students of different physical fitness levels and capabilities to give all activities a go. The Trainers are the ultimate professionals. They know how to work with kids of all ages and get the best out of them. I highly recommend Jonathan and his team. His program should be mandatory in all schools”.
